A Spa Built Around the View

From a dated garden tub to a modern retreat: a curbless-entry wet room and freestanding soaking tub built around the desert view outside.

The Challenge

The bathroom was outdated, with an old garden tub and a small shower. The homeowners wanted an updated, modern, spa-like bathroom to relax in.

The Scope

A full remodel: new flooring throughout, a curbless-entry shower built on a plywood subfloor, fresh paint, a custom vanity, a freestanding soaking tub, and a combined wet-room shower and tub.

The Approach

The curbless wet room and freestanding tub were built around the desert view outside, turning the primary bath into the spa-like retreat the homeowners were after.
